Script Writing & Storyboard Workflow for Developing Virtual Lab Simulation
A training was carried out from 13th to 14th March 2023 on script writing and storyboard workflow for the development of virtual lab simulations. This was a
training for select academic staff from Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Nkumba University, Kyambogo University, MAT Abacus Business School, and Busitema University.

Due Diligence Study
Cyber School carried out a Due Diligence Study with the purpose of ensuring that the project is progressing according to the objectives and plans drawn and that

Development of a Short Course on Entrepreneurship
Under the Work Readiness theme, Cyber School has developed a short course on entrepreneurship which will be available to students and staff via our LMS (BUOLE). The draft course was shared with a few staff that gave their input and was then discussed and validated by students. At Busitema University, this discussion was held on 8th & 9th June 2023 with a few students from the Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Sciences (Arapai). Feedback from the students is being used to finalize the course which will then be uploaded onto our LMS.
Learning Management System Assessment and Evaluation
One of the interventions in this project is the enhancement of the Busitema University Online Learning Environment (BUOLE). On 17th February, 2023 a team from Cyber School visited Busitema University to assess LMS and its associated infrastructure so as to establish what would be needed to enhance the system and to support the University to ensure the enhanced system is effectively utilized. This was followed by an upgrade of BUOLE which took place from 18th – 24th June 2023. The team at Cyber School at Busitema University is going through the upgraded system to ensure all information is reflected in the new version. Subsequent training of staff and students will now be based on the enhanced BUOLE and it is expected that this will provide a platform for more robust and versatile courses.
Training of LMS Administrators
As a strategy for effective utilization of the LMS, a training of LMS administrators, a training was carried out on 27th & 28th June 2023.The Training was carried out by staff of Cyber School Technology Solutions. The training covered:

Extending the functionality of a Moodle site
Creating SCORM content using iSpring
Initiating and managing synchronous video sessions using BigBlueButton
